Stop-over in Hong Kong

The chinese supermarkets

Last day in the Kong...

As I didn't have so much time before my connection flight to Australia today I decided to discover "the ordinary".

The supermarkets in HK are called 7Eleven and Wellcome which are the most commen and it is possible to pay with your Octopus travel card as well if u don't have money or your credit card.

I found out that there are sooo many differences between the asian food sections and varieties to the ones we have in europe (Austria and London).

You will end up finding lots of (for example) "joy sam" and "pack joy" vegetables, various exotic fruit which we can't even get in europe or at least very hard. Looots of rice, salmon to very cheap prices, sushi on platters for only 99HK$ and believe it or not: chicken legs, black chicken(!!) and black eggs!
Howevery, chinese love their yakult drink which suppose to be healthy for digestion.

See the pictures for yourselfe. Enjoy!
