SeaSide

Today we got up quite early, as we had an 3h30min car-journey ahead of us to the families holiday home/cottage by the beach. We took the two dogs Iris (left on the first picture) and Maxy (right) with us on our 4 day trip to the county-sea-side.

After we arrived I was amazed by the space they had in this house as it wasn't their permanent home. It was build only 2 years ago, close to the village called Metung and near a golf course.

In the evening we were invited to the nearby British-Maltese-Australian neighbours with their cats and dogs for a deliciouse Fahitas- BBQ. After a few glasses of wine, bailey's with milk(!!) and fun (french*wink) conversations we decided to call it a day.

On the next day Gudrun&Stelios (the family I'm staying with) and the family from yesterday (Dave, Stephanie & their cute daughter Zoe) decided we are going to have a picknick and a fun day out on an outlying bay, which can only be reached by boat.

Both of the families own a motor-boat as Metang is a village for "boatlovers".

However, before we came home we had the lovely opportunity at the bay to see a "Kukabara"bird very close as it was very attracted to our cheese snacks what we were holding in our hands and he flew right towards us. Didn't know they love cheese so much^^

Ps: I was very careful when I was lying in the sun and put on lots of fxxing 30+ sun cream... however, the last image will show u where I obviously forgot it*ouch*
