Jorden market & Mong Kok

Hong Kong is famouse for its various food markets and street shopping during the later afternoon and evening.

Especially Jorden market is a food market during the day and a fashion plus other stuff market during night. Cheap souveniers, Tshirs, phone-cases and so on for a nice shopping experiance.

During the morning it is very busy at Jordan's fish market, where you only find fresh and still living seafood but also turtles and frogs in boxes.

I'm not sure about the hygiene sometimes at these places as they cut and wash everything outside in the streets or in open shops but everything is very messy, blood is everywhere and the meat is hanging up on hucks for showcase purposes. Interesting to watch but nothing like the western food markets.

After browsing through the market I met up again with my chinese-uni friend Lavinia and we went for Lunch with her lovely parents and later on to her flat in Hung Hom.

Her place is absolutely amazing and I got some insights how HK residents are living when it comes to this massive high towers.

I have to say I was mindblown from the few on the 20 floor. I can't imagine how it would be when u live on the 88 floor or something like that.
See the pictures below for yourself!
They even have a spa, a outside pool and view to the sea included!
Wow!

After spending some time at her place we decided to go to Mong Kok for crazy girls shopping.
Mong Kok is very well known for it's fashion and all the other stuff you can get at the market. :))

There is one shopping center which is my favourit and super known for crazy clothes shopping.
It's exactly at exit D2 outside at Mong Kok station and has the cheapest and fun clothes, shoes accessorize,...etc you will ever find in HK!! Love it, but the quality of the fashion isn't the best that's why it's so cheap as it comes from china and you have to deal with small corridors inside, confusing staircases and too many girls on shopping tour. Haha stress for so,e people, fun for me;))) you have to understand the city, go with the flow in order to love Hong Kong :))
